We are looking for an energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is essential to our logistics chain, involving a variety of tasks critical to the efficient movement and storage of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety, providing comprehensive training and ensuring all team members utilize the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas efficiently.
- Pick orders accurately based on order sheets or system prompts.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all company policies and Safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including regular Lifting of goods up to 60 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to adhering to Safety standards and procedures.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
