Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is essential to our logistics chain, involving a variety of tasks critical to the efficient movement and storage of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety, providing comprehensive training and ensuring all team members utilize the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
  • Stock shelves and designated storage areas efficiently.
  • Pick orders accurately based on order sheets or system prompts.
  • Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Follow all company policies and Safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including regular Lifting of goods up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to Safety standards and procedures.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
