We are seeking motivated Distribution Center Associates for our facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is central to our logistics and supply chain management, ensuring the efficient processing of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This position requires physical endurance, a keen eye for detail, and a strong adherence to Safety procedures. You will be part of a dedicated team in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against documentation.
- Store merchandise in designated locations within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and speed.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and guidelines.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical effort, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Safety standards.
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
