We are hiring energetic Warehouse Workers for our facility in Chicago, Illinois! This role is key to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that goods are processed efficiently and accurately. As a Warehouse Worker, you will handle a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety. You will be part of a collaborative team environment where teamwork is essential. We provide ongoing training and ensure that all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available and utilized. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize products in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack products securely for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
- Follow all company Safety regulations and guidelines for accident prevention.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is an advantage.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and Safety practices.
- Dependable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic logistics environment.
