We are looking for energetic and diligent Picker/Packers to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics center. You'll work with a variety of products, utilizing our warehouse management system (WMS) to locate and retrieve items. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a strong commitment to following safety procedures. We emphasize a safe working environment, which includes the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to proper lifting techniques. The ideal candidate is a team player, eager to contribute, and able to maintain productivity in a dynamic setting. You will be expected to meet daily picking and packing quotas while ensuring the quality of every order processed. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Operate pallet jacks or other hand trucks for moving goods (if applicable).
- Support overall warehouse and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
