We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team at our Detroit, Michigan warehouse. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are prepared for timely dispatch. As a Picker/Packer, you will be on the front lines of our logistics operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Success in this position requires a strong focus on detail, speed, and adherence to safety protocols. You will work with a team to manage inventory, pick items, and pack them with care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Inspect products for quality and condition before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure secure delivery.
- Verify order accuracy and scan items into the inventory management system.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Adhere to lifting guidelines and safe handling procedures for all products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with lifting items up to 35 lbs.
- Willingness to follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
