We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our thriving warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is central to our logistics and fulfillment process, requiring individuals who are efficient, accurate, and committed to delivering high-quality service. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your role is critical in ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications, using a scanner or pick sheet.
- Verify picked items for accuracy and quality.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring protection during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed for material movement.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse/logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be capable of regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Team player mentality and willingness to help where needed.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
