Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced logistics operations in the heart of New York City as a Material Handler. We are seeking a strong, reliable individual to manage the movement and organization of materials within our busy warehouse. This role is integral to our supply chain, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and sort incoming materials with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Ensure proper stacking and arrangement of materials to maximize space and prevent damage.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all logistics standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as directed.
  • Support shipping and receiving teams as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team dynamic.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with forklifts and other powered industrial trucks is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse and logistics environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
