We are looking for a proactive Shipping Clerk to join our bustling logistics operation in Denver, Colorado. This role is critical for ensuring that all outgoing orders are accurately prepared, packaged, and dispatched to our customers. You will be responsible for generating shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining meticulous records of all shipments. Your contribution ensures that our products reach their destinations on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments using our shipping software.
- Generate accurate shipping labels and documentation.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order details against shipment contents before dispatch.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Update inventory records with shipped items.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any shipping issues or delays.
- Assist with loading shipments onto trucks as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be compliant with all safety guidelines and wear assigned PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
