Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced logistics team in Portland, Oregon. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will work closely with our warehouse management system to track inventory and manage order flow. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work independently, and thrive in a dynamic environment. Experience with RF scanners and order picking equipment is a plus. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items for customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
  • Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
  • Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Meet or exceed daily productivity targets.
  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

Requirements:
  • Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Must be willing to wear required PPE.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
