We are looking for dedicated Pickers/Packers to join our vibrant warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from shelves based on order lists and carefully packaging them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics services.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Package orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate scanning equipment and use warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to handle lifting of items up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics and fulfillment process.
- Always prioritize safety during all picking and packing activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to read and understand order lists. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a standing and walking role. Physically capable of frequent lifting and moving of boxes. Understanding of basic warehouse safety protocols. Team player with good communication skills. Must be committed to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
