Orlando, Florida is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. This leadership role is crucial for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Implement and enforce all **safety** procedures, including **PPE** compliance.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Coordinate with other departments and external **logistics** partners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safety**-compliant warehouse environment.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or **logistics** environment is required. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles. Excellent understanding of warehouse **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements. Must be capable of **Lifting** (up to 50 lbs) and performing physical tasks as needed. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. This role requires a proactive approach to **safety** and operational excellence.
