Are you a skilled Forklift Operator? Join our busy warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics facility. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A strong commitment to safety, adherence to operational procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including rigorous inspection of equipment before use and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations.
- Follow all traffic rules and regulations within the warehouse premises.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- In-depth knowledge of safe forklift operating procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory management is a plus.
