Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and functionality of our warehouse equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), forklifts, and other material handling equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is crucial. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance, contributing directly to our logistics success. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Install, test, and calibrate new equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization.
  • Operate various types of warehouse equipment safely.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in logistics operations is a plus.
