About
We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This involves using scanning equipment to identify and retrieve products, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. You will then carefully package these items, ensuring they are protected for transit and that all shipping labels are correctly applied. Accuracy and efficiency are key to our success. The role requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and performing regular lifting of products, typically up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and all employees must adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Package orders securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Verify item counts and product details.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Perform frequent lifting of items, up to 30-50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and labels.
- Basic math skills for counting and verification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform regular lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
