Are you a detail-oriented individual looking to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Dallas, Texas. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their correct items in a timely manner. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating products in our warehouse, accurately picking them according to specific orders, and then securely packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our supply chain. We pride ourselves on a safe and organized working environment, and we require all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order documentation for accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently, utilizing appropriate shipping materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or order fulfillment role is a strong asset.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of frequent lifting, with items potentially weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
