Job Summary:
Provo, Utah seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to oversee the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. This position is critical for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a meticulous approach to data management, and a solid understanding of warehouse best practices. You will play a key role in ensuring that our inventory system reflects real-time stock, enabling better planning and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring they align with demand forecasts and reorder points.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to prevent loss, damage, or obsolescence.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the inventory management system (IMS).
  • Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and shipping departments to coordinate inventory flow.
  • Maintain organized and accessible storage locations for all inventory items.
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements for inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE during all inventory-related activities.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Knowledge of logistics principles and warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of safety standards and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
