We are seeking meticulous Picker/Packers to join our logistics team in Washington, D.C. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail ensures that our customers receive their orders correctly and in perfect condition. This position is key to the efficiency of our order fulfillment process. We prioritize employee well-being and provide all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to guarantee a safe working experience. The ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Packing items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verifying order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Labeling packages correctly for transit.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhering to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment when necessary.
- Communicating any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- This role requires the ability to perform consistent Lifting, up to 30 pounds, while picking and packing.
