This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. You'll be an essential part of our supply chain, ensuring products are handled with care and efficiency. We require all associates to follow established safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming merchandise.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labels and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues.
- Ensure proper lifting techniques are used for all items.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety practices is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes is advantageous.
