We are seeking dedicated and energetic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a crucial position within our warehouse operations, ensuring our clients receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to efficiency. Our warehouse utilizes state-of-the-art technology to streamline the picking and packing process. Key responsibilities include reading pick lists or scanning items, locating products in the warehouse, and carefully packing items into appropriate boxes or containers. You will also be responsible for labeling packages and ensuring they are ready for the shipping department. Adherence to all safety protocols is paramount, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves significant standing, walking, and manual dexterity. Successful candidates will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We value a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into designated containers.
- Label all packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks for moving goods.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily shipping goals.
- Ensure quality control standards are met before items are shipped.
- Properly use all required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and vests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred.
- Familiarity with safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
