Are you a reliable and hardworking individual seeking an opportunity in the logistics sector? Our San Antonio, Texas facility is looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and tracking of materials within the warehouse. This includes receiving goods, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, stocking inventory, and preparing materials for shipment. Your role is critical in maintaining the smooth flow of operations and ensuring the integrity of our inventory. We are committed to your well-being and provide all necessary PPE , along with comprehensive training on safety procedures. The role requires significant physical activity, including Lifting up to 70 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Package and prepare materials for shipment according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety standards.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any issues.
- Follow all company procedures and logistics protocols.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification for operating forklifts or other relevant equipment is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Commitment to upholding strict safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Must be able to wear and utilize required PPE .
