About

The Commune of Bellevue is looking for a Social Worker. The Commune of Bellevue is offering a 50% position subject to evolution within the Social Cohesion Service of the municipality. Your mission: Under the responsibility of the Head of Service, you will ensure the reception and analysis of individuals requesting communal social support. Depending on the requests, you will be required to guide, advise, support, and assist individuals in their processes. You will need to evaluate the relevance of granting financial aid in accordance with municipal directives, both in terms of Swiss social matters and the subsidies granted. Your main tasks will be: Listening to, guiding, advising, supporting, and individually accompanying individuals requesting the service. Analyzing and evaluating subsidy requests. Collaborating with individuals to build an action plan aimed at returning to autonomy by mobilizing their resources. Submitting fund requests, letters of support, and other tasks with municipal colleagues as well as with the Geneva socio-health network. Contributing to the development of the social cohesion policy. Profile: Holder of a bachelor's degree in social work with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field, preferably within a public community or with experience in social and financial domains. Ability to work autonomously, in teams, and in multidisciplinary networks. Excellent knowledge of the Geneva socio-health network. Strong writing skills and excellent mastery of standard office tools. Ability to display high listening skills, analysis, adaptability to change, flexibility and perseverance. Interpersonal skills, discretion, and specific continuous training (debt relief, others). Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.
