Systems Engineer Job Description The General Directorate of Education (DGEP) is responsible for overseeing the transition between secondary and higher education. It offers programs within 15 high schools and 13 vocational schools, serving more than [number]. To strengthen the Systems Unit (USI), we are looking for a Systems Engineer. Responsibilities Design and manage the evolution of IT architectures by integrating advanced technologies, ensuring their interoperability and scalability while defining technological standards and integrating best practices in IT. Ensure the availability and resilience of IT services by implementing advanced monitoring systems, business continuity plans, and mechanisms to prevent service interruptions and ensure continuity of services. Oversee and deploy evolution and digital projects by defining techniques, ensuring system interoperability, and integrating innovative technologies to improve scalability, performance, and cybersecurity of IT services. Supervise and harmonize IT within institutions by standardizing processes, optimizing, and developing a comprehensive technique to ensure the sustainability of technologies and facilitate collaboration between technical teams. Contribute to incident management, lead problem management, and continuous improvement by providing advanced technical support, identifying and correcting root causes of malfunctions, and streamlining processes to enhance stability and security of environments. Architecture / Systems expertise: 5 years of experience. Cybersecurity: 5 years of experience. English proficiency (reading, speaking, writing) at level B2. Excellent knowledge of ITIL processes.
