About
Our rapidly growing logistics hub in Tampa, Florida, is seeking energetic Order Pickers to join our team. You will play a crucial role in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting items from our warehouse shelves. This fast-paced position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse inventory using pick lists or electronic scanning devices.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control activities, such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Perform manual lifting of products, with weights often up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to meet productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with manual lifting and handling of merchandise.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including occasional overtime.
