Join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick merchandise from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Inspect products for damage before packing and shipping.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners to facilitate the picking and packing process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of necessary PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Support the broader logistics team to meet operational targets.
- Must be capable of frequent lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Skill in identifying and handling various types of products.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices.
