About
We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our growing logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your primary duties will include reading order tickets or using scanning devices to locate specific products, ensuring the correct items and quantities are picked. Once picked, you will carefully pack these items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are protected during transit. Attention to detail is crucial to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Adherence to all safety guidelines is a top priority; you will be provided with necessary training on safe lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace for all employees. The ability to perform consistent Lifting of items, often up to 40 lbs, is a fundamental requirement. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order instructions.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to identify and retrieve items.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping boxes or containers.
- Apply shipping labels and other necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts, when needed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily shipping goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Follow instructions related to order fulfillment and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a consistent work ethic.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
