Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist in Seattle, Washington, to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. In this vital role, you will be responsible for all aspects of inventory control, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy investigation. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure that inventory records accurately reflect physical stock. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS). You will be involved in identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues. A critical part of this role involves ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures related to inventory management, including safety standards. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn when required, and adherence to all safety guidelines is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in inventory control, preferably within a logistics or distribution environment. Experience with WMS software is essential. You should be comfortable with physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds, and possess excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
