Join our thriving warehouse team in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Picker/Packer! This role is vital to our distribution center's success, responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This position involves navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and meticulously packaging items to prevent damage during transit. We are looking for energetic individuals who are committed to efficiency, accuracy, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Strict adherence to safety procedures and the correct use of PPE are essential components of daily work. Your contributions will directly impact the speed and accuracy of our fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists and RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Contribute to team goals by working collaboratively and communicating effectively.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Ability to read and understand pick tickets and order information. Proficient in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. The physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. A strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE is required. Good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
