About
Our San Jose, California facility is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our logistics network, involving the handling and processing of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are paramount. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a physically demanding environment. This position requires consistent lifting, standing for long periods, and operating warehouse equipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products.
- Accurately store and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve productivity goals.
- Wear and maintain required PPE throughout the shift.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring significant lifting (up to 60 lbs) and physical exertion.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
