Job Summary:
We are actively recruiting for a certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our distribution facility. Your expertise in operating forklifts and your commitment to safety will be paramount. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload products from incoming and outgoing trucks.
  • Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
  • Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
  • Accurately stack and store materials according to established procedures.
  • Assist with inventory control, including cycle counting and stock verification.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Respond to operational needs and assist with other warehouse tasks as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work culture.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety .
  • Proficiency in wearing and maintaining PPE .
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
