As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices. You'll work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with team members to meet daily targets. Responsibilities:
- Read order tickets or use a scanner to identify items to be picked.
- Locate items accurately within the warehouse.
- Retrieve specified quantities of each item.
- Transport picked items to the packing station using carts or other equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against the order.
- Assist with packing and staging orders as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of warehouse layout and inventory systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
