Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Organize and stack materials to ensure efficient use of space.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs consistently.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics network.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role. Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks). Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting. Strong understanding of safety protocols. Team player with good communication skills. Must be comfortable working in a dynamic logistics environment and always prioritize safety.
