Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse Associate in Houston, Texas. This versatile role is central to the successful operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving inbound shipments, stocking inventory, accurately picking and packing orders, and preparing items for outgoing shipment. We are looking for dedicated individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety. Success in this role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Your contribution is vital to ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. We emphasize a safe working environment and expect all team members to utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders with precision and speed, adhering to order specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to established standards.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities such as cycle counting and stock verification.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, and moving for the duration of the shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential requirements.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
