We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our thriving logistics team in Boise, Idaho. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves and efficiently preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory based on order lists.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, following all warehouse safety procedures.
- Operate manual equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks when necessary.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety and efficiency in logistics operations.
- Wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests, at all times on the floor.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be active for prolonged periods.
- Comfortable with lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- A proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving within logistics.
