Join our team as a Fulfillment Associate in Indianapolis, Indiana, and be a vital part of our efficient logistics operation. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. Key duties include retrieving items from inventory, preparing them for shipment, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. We prioritize a secure working environment and provide all essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is meticulous, energetic, capable of handling tasks involving lifting, and thrives in a collaborative team setting. Experience in a warehouse or fulfillment capacity is preferred but not required for motivated individuals. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Verify order contents against packing slips before shipment.
- Label packages for shipping and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent picking and stocking processes.
- Ensure the warehouse area is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners as needed.
- Work cooperatively with other associates to meet daily goals.
- Perform tasks that involve consistent lifting and physical movement, up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics and fulfillment center.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse role is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand order details and instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform lifting duties.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and wearing PPE.
