Responsibilities include verifying delivery contents against purchase orders, documenting any discrepancies or damages, and moving goods to designated storage areas. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify the contents of deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
  • Document all received items into the inventory management system.
  • Allocate received goods to appropriate storage locations.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding deliveries.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics flow by ensuring timely processing of all incoming materials.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a receiving, inventory, or warehouse role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer systems and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety standards and use of PPE.
