Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a rewarding opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia? We are hiring experienced operators to join our fast-paced logistics operation. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting various warehouse functions. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to operational procedures is paramount in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport products to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
- Operate other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform Lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
