Your primary duties will involve using order sheets or electronic scanners to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves, ensuring the correct items and quantities are picked. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount, and all team members are required to follow strict safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires good physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick sheet.
- Locate and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order details.
- Package orders securely for shipment.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting (up to 40 lbs) and stand for long durations.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
