Join our thriving logistics operation as a Forklift Operator in Dallas, Texas. We are looking for an experienced professional to manage the movement of materials within our state-of-the-art distribution center. This role requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and a strong focus on workplace safety. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient handling of inventory, from receiving goods to dispatching them to their next destination. Responsibilities include operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack products. Accuracy in documenting movements and maintaining inventory records is paramount. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment, capable of performing tasks that involve significant Lifting and physical exertion. Compliance with all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts for material handling tasks.
- Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Move products between different warehouse zones.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through scanning and data entry.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear designated PPE at all times.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management.
- Participate in safety training and promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including moderate to heavy Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Good spatial awareness and coordination.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
