As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Your tasks will involve navigating the warehouse using scanning devices, picking items, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate products in the warehouse based on item numbers and locations.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged goods immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Proven ability to accurately pick orders in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to wear and utilize required PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is beneficial.
