We're looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our state-of-the-art facility in Madison, Wisconsin! As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. Your daily tasks will involve locating specific items in our warehouse, carefully packing them for shipment, and ensuring order accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from warehouse shelves accurately using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify item details and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking procedures.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
- Requires lifting of up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently and maintain speed in a dynamic environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and basic inventory concepts.
- Strict adherence to safety guidelines and mandatory use of PPE is expected.
