Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Move materials around the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Accurately record the movement of materials in the inventory management system.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to perform frequent lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and logistics operations.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
This role involves significant physical activity, including repetitive lifting and material movement. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all PPE requirements is mandatory.
