Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are hiring in Phoenix, Arizona, to manage our warehouse operations with precision and care. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts with confidence. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth logistics flow and maintaining a safe working environment for everyone. We value safety above all and expect all employees to strictly adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload trailers in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of warehouse products.
- Identify damaged goods before accepting or moving them.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols for warehouse operations.
- Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Organize and clean work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Support other warehouse associates in achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace by adhering to all safety standards and using required PPE.
