About
We are hiring Warehouse Associates for our facility in Austin, Texas! This role is integral to our logistics operations, involving a broad range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and safe working environment while ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of goods. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and possesses a strong commitment to teamwork and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all warehouse areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and success of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring consistent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and perform various warehouse duties.
