Are you a skilled and safety-conscious individual? We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move materials within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Maintaining a safe working environment is our utmost priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to handle materials efficiently and accurately. This position requires physical dexterity, good spatial awareness, and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory items to designated locations.
- Stack and stage materials appropriately in warehouse racking systems.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and adhere to company policies.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support inventory control efforts through accurate material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiarity with safety best practices and PPE.
