As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring proper placement.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and efficiency in the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
