About
This position entails serving and protecting the nation by detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
Main Responsibilities:
- Detecting and interrogating individuals under suspicion for violating immigration regulations.
- Pursuing undocumented non-citizens and smugglers at or near borders, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules.
Serving in this role requires adapting to stressful situations, staying updated on relevant legislation through formal training sessions,
and effectively gathering information via observation skills. Proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Spanish language is also advantageous.
A minimum one-year work experience or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution are both acceptable qualifications for applicants.
In addition to competitive base pay rates, salary increases based on grade level progression (GL-5/GL-7) ranging between $51,632 - $92,219 annually
are included as part of our compensation package.
