At GXO , we’re expanding and seeking dedicated drivers to join our energetic team at Dartford, Kent, working on our IKEA contract. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better everyday experience for our customers!
Your RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position where you will work 48 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over an 8-week rota, with start times between 5:00-5:30 AM .

- Work as part of a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes while providing a first-class customer service experience
- Ensure the vehicle and stock are properly secured
- Complete tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
- Perform vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey, reporting any defects
- This is a physically demanding role that includes lifting and shifting furniture
- Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
- Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable
- A DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate.
