Location: Wimbledon office / Hybrid

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As a Technical Solutions Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in our Data Centre Sales and Project Management teams. You’ll be the go-to person for managing the post-order process and providing essential technical support, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service throughout their journey with us.

Your Impact

This role is crucial for the success of our UK&I Data Centre business unit. You will manage the entire order-to-delivery lifecycle, support effective cash collection, and provide accurate sales forecasts. You’ll also serve as a vital link between Sales, Finance, Logistics, Factories, and our Customer Care leadership.

What Will You Be Doing?

In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Support the Sales team with customer inquiries and tender bids.
  • Engage directly with clients, consultants, and designers to create detailed and accurate selections.
  • Oversee the end-to-end post-order process from order receipt to delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to review and approve Technical Submittals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers post-sale, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
  • Assist the Project Delivery Team to guarantee seamless execution from order intake to final delivery.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or project delivery role, particularly in HVAC or building services.
  • Experience supporting multi-disciplinary teams, including customer care, sales, and project delivery.
  • A strong understanding of tender inquiries, product selections, technical submittals, and the post-order handover process.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions in a matrix organization.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of handling escalations and complex customer situations.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
