Your Mission:As a Lead Controls Engineer, you will tackle complex challenges and guide junior engineers in their professional development. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Design and program advanced building automation systems, including site-specific configurations and control algorithms.
- Ensure adherence to project requirements and maintain high standards of design, programming, and implementation.
- Create comprehensive design documents that provide technical insights for project teams.
- Document and communicate design changes for building automation systems effectively.
- Develop user-friendly graphical and text-based interfaces for our systems.
- Conduct thorough testing of programming and interfaces before implementation.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or a related field.
- Proficiency with building automation system software and engineering tools, preferably Automated Logic suites.
- Strong knowledge of complex Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, and services.
- Familiarity with third-party communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
- Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- A valid UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel across the UK.
