About the RoleWe are excited to welcome a Sales Development Representative to our Telford team! In this pivotal role, you will support our business growth by building relationships, communicating with customers, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless and professional customer experience.
This isnβt just a sales position; itβs about customer communication, coordination, data accuracy, and daily commercial support . You will be a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, gradually developing your product knowledge and sales skills through structured onboarding and hands-on learning.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Development Representative, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for existing and potential B2B customers (installers, contractors, distributors, wholesalers).
- Support the external sales team through lead follow-up, information exchange, coordination of activities, and administrative support.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in internal systems and reports.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to provide information, respond to queries, and ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams:
- Marketing: Support campaigns and handle incoming leads.
- Technical Support / After-Sales: Address technical queries and ensure issues are followed up.
- Logistics / Operations: Assist with order tracking, deliveries, and stock-related questions.
- Finance / Accounts: Help with invoicing and basic credit-related queries.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with customer data, documentation, and internal processes.
- Gradually build knowledge of products and services, with full training and support provided.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills and enjoys engaging with people.
- Is organized, detail-oriented , and comfortable working with data.
- Is confident using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and basic computer systems.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and supporting others to achieve shared goals.
- Can manage tasks independently and prioritize effectively.
- Is proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Speaks fluent English .
Previous experience in sales or business development is welcome but not essential. We are open to candidates from administrative, customer service, coordination, or support roles who are interested in developing commercially. A driving license is not required .
